In a distinct session of “Ai Mo Talks”, Dr. Maria Khan will be delivering a lecture on “Emerging Educational Technologies During and After COVID-19”.
Miss. Khan will shed a light on the experience and observation of different technologies influencing the educational realm worldwide during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. Basically, the internationalization of education brought the global academia to prepare for remote teaching-learning and experiencing which is becoming advantageous during the pandemic phase of COVID-19. The revolution of Artificial intelligence (AI) Virtual Realities and automation are also causing the challenges of accommodation in educational design.


Dr. Maria Khan is an educationalist originally from Pakistan. She is going to serve as an Associate Professor in Neijiang Normal University. Previously, she served as social organizer and Master Trainer with different international organizations like Social Mobilization Unit (SMU) and UNICEF. She was also a Radio Presenter in Pakistan and got training from prestigious academy of Deutsche Welle, Bonn Germany. In addition, she also extended her volunteering services for internally displaced persons (IDPs) during 2005 earthquake in Balakot Pakistan, teaching to orphanage children (Pakistan & China), and leading as president of international students’ union (ISU) faculty of education (FoE), Beijing Normal University, China.
She received her Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Law from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. She completed her Master in Political Science from Hazara University Mansehra, Dodihal (Pakistan) and Master of Science from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) on full scholarship offered by university on competitive basis. Miss Khan accomplished her PhD degree from Beijing Normal University (BNU) in Educational leadership and Policy (Comparative Education) on Full-Scholarship offered by the Chinese government. Her PhD dissertation was focusing on ‘Role of Fundraising in Higher Education Institutions of Pakistan’. Her other areas of research interests include educational leadership & management, knowledge management, educational philanthropy, Literacy Education, and conflict studies.
