Dr. Ammar Younas will be hosting first “Ai Mo Talks” event with Dr. Mohsin Shaikh on the topic “Health Informatics in the Era of Pandemic”.
Health informatics or Health Information Systems uses information technology to organize and analyze health records to improve healthcare outcomes. Health Informatics deals with the resources, devices and methods to utilize acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and medicine. Dr. Mohsin will explain the implementations of Health Informatics Systems in our Health Care Facilities and how we can help you design these systems.
Biography of our Guest: Dr. Mohsin Shaikh, Currently, serving as Assistant Professor (Computer Science) in Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, majoring in Software and System from Chung-Ang University, South Korea. He did his Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from Hanyang University, South Korea, and pursued his BS in Software Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology. He also worked as a Ph.D. research scholar at Real-Time Software Engineering Lab, Chung-Ang University, South Korea. His research interests include Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Re-engineering legacy application, Software Architecture of Electronic Health Record Systems and Software Analysis.
